Morning routine: AHH the difference a day makes. The morning routine went off without a hitch. Everyone was MUCH happier today, laundry was started, music time done, chores done...MUCH BETTER! Of course in the midst of the normal morning chaos I discovered that we had a library video due yesterday! I rushed it off to the library and thus we started 5 minutes late!
Devoltional: We read 3 Nephi 13:24-end. It was a great section with the "consider the lillies" and a reminder to choose the Lord first. We discussed personal scripture reading...which the children haven't really done much of lately. We also discussed self esteem and how it comes from knowing we are children of God and acting like we know!
learning time: We read about 40 pages in Journey to the Centre of the Earth. It was rather plot heavy as we near the end, but we did discus clouds (in relation to the cumuli present as the storm on the sea approaches) Raymond found a weather book and we all enjoyed some beautiful cloud pictures.
